Es Puter Conglik

There were two traditional icecream which i wanna to try in Semarang: es pankuk Pak Yono and es puter Conglik. The later one was more famous so we paid a visit there first on June. There was only three flavour available: durian, kopyor, and lychee.

Es Puter Durian 12k was the best seller here, but we -11 of us- found it to be nothing special. Maybe people are buying the fruit, not the icecream (IMHO).

Es Puter Kopyor 9k served with shredded coconut and a siwalan fruit. It was said to be the second best-seller here but we found the icecream to be also just OK.

Es Puter Lychee 9k was the best tasting icecream among all menu. It went well with siwalan too.

We also bought extra siwalan for 1k/each. It was good, had a decent and coconutty sweetness, and refreshing. Just dont forget to eat it in whole to keep the siwalan’s water (well, actually it was endosperms) contained.
It was a street stall so there was no toilet. Service was nothing special. However, it was still a good place to try eating icecream with siwalan as sides.
